About Us
Physical Therapy Specialists was founded in 1994 by Stephanie Bolling, MS, PT, OCS, and today consists of a comprehensive team of top physical therapists, pilates instructors, athletic trainers, certified massage therapists, and an occupational hand therapist.
We specialize in the treatment of all Orthopedic injuries and surgeries, treating patients in need of rehabilitation from recreational or professional sports injuries, postural or work-related injuries, arthritis, joint replacement, and chronic pain conditions.
Our Team of Professionals
All of our therapists specialize in manual therapy and hold either Doctor of Physical Therapy degrees and/or are Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialists.
Our therapists have extensive experience working with professional athletes, including players from the NBA and NFL, as well as working with many celebrities in the entertainment industry, both in our offices and at their homes.

Alex Reyes, PT, OCS, graduated from UCLA with a B.S. in Physiological Science and continued his education at USC for a Masters in Physical Therapy. He completed the year-long Kaiser Permanente Orthopedic Residency program with Joe Godges, where he also completed the year-long specialized Maitland program. Alex became a Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) in 2003 and continues to study manual therapy techniques with Dr. Louie Yu. In the clinic, he specializes in Grade V Passive Mobilizations, especially of the spine.

| Andrea Wasserman, DPT, received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from USC in 2005. Her undergraduate degree was from UC-Santa Barbara in 2002 with a B.S. in Biological Sciences. Andrea’s desire to become a physical therapist stemmed from her passion to be in a people-oriented profession that would allow her to help people regain a better quality of life. She is also a long time member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), and is an orthopedic section member. Andrea has a wide range of interests within the profession, including advanced manual techniques, postural and movement analysis, and therapeutic exercise: all specific to the patient’s needs and functional goals. She continues to advance her skills nad knowledge with continuing education courses and is a certified clinical instructor for PT students.

| Elsa Shekelle, PT¸ received her physical therapy degree from CSU-Northridge in 1986. She completed the year-long Kaiser Permanente Orthopedic Residency program in 1992. Elsa has always had a strong interest in orthopedics and direct patient care. She has been practicing outpatient orthopedics in various settings for over 20 years including almost 7 years at Physical Therapy Specialists.

| Diana Garrett, DPT, CSCS¸ completed her undergraduate work at UC-Davis with a B.S. in Exercise Biology in 2006 and earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from USC in 2009. While at UCD, she had the opportunity to work as a Student Athletic Trainer with various athletic teams such as football, track and field, women’s gymnastics, and wrestling. Diana’s innate knowledge she gained as a dancer provides her a thorough understanding of how the body moves. She had the honor of working with Broadway artists, dancers, musicians, and other performing artists during an internship in New York City. Diana is a long-time member of the APTA, a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and certified clinical instructor for PT students. She hopes to continue to advance her clinical knowledge and earn her OCS.

| Jeff Bradley, PT, OSC, ATC, graduated from the University of Arizona with a B.S. in Exercise Science. He then went on to graduate from CSU-Long Beach with a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy in 2001. Jeff completed the Kaiser Permanente Orthopedic Physical Therapy residency program in 2003. He received his athletic training certification in 2005 and continues to pursue further educaiton opporutnities in order to improve his ability to treat his patients.

| Felicia N. Colon-Barnes, DPT, CSCS¸ graduated from Xavier University of Louisiana with a B.S. in Psychology and minor in Biology. Her desire to pursue a career in the medical profession and her interest in sports and exercise led her to USC where she received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2005. Felicia uses every facet of her physical therapy education and certification in strength and conditioning to treat orthopedic dysfunctions and sports injuries, as well as Women’s Health concerns, such as pelvic floor rehab and peri/post-partum disorders.

| Nadya Nicholas, DPT, graduated from Howard University with a B.S. in Health Science in 2007. Her drive to pursue a career in the medical profession and experience volunteering for a physical therapy clinic for the Marines led her to USC where she received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2010. Currently, she is a member of the APTA’s orthopedic section and is interested in specializing further in orthopedics.
