Dance/Gymnastics Rehabilitation
Our dance/gymnastics rehabilitation program offers services to dancers/gymnasts of various disciplines and levels in order to prevent injuries and to facilitate recovery to return to their art. We understand the demands and the passion dancers/gymnasts hold to return to their sport. Physical therapy treatments are tailored to meet the unique needs of dancers/gymnasts and may include manual therapy, massage, therapeutic exercise,balance re-training, neuromuscular re-education, pilates, and/or modalities.
Our dance/gymnastics rehabilitation program is led by an orthopedic physical therapist who has extensive background in dance including jazz, lyrical, tap, and ballet. She has also worked with many gymnasts as well as professional and non professional dancers. Her sympathy after sustaining several injuries and understanding the pain of not being able to perform, allows her to relate to gymnasts and dancers and help them return to their sport as quickly as possible.
Injury prevention screenings are offered to local dance groups and gymnastic centers in order to assess movement patterns, flexibility limitations, and/or strength deficits that may lead to future acute or chronic injuries. We offer both individual screenings and group sessions to discuss general injury prevention.

We are currently offering FREE 30 MINUTE INJURY PREVENTION SCREENINGS. If a more thorough medical evaluation is required, we will refer you to a orthopedic physician who works with gymnasts and dancers.
